Azazel was an angel that once resided within Heaven. He was Beelzebub's friend.
Appearance[]
Azazel is quite corpulent and wears a suit along with a spotted shirt and short tie. The belt Azazel wears has a buckle with a goat's head on it and chains going across the buckle. Also, two horns protrude out of Azazel's head.
Personality[]
Azazel is a very gluttonous individual, often thinking about food and can even be easily swayed by food.
Plot[]
Past[]
At some point in time, Azazel was a lonesome person before being found and befriended by another angel, Lucifer. He often hung out with Lucifer, along with Samael.
Azazel, Lucifer and Samael find Beelzebub while he is alone
When the three heard rumors about Beelzebub, they went to the city he resided in, where Lucifer tried to convince Beelzebub to be their friend. Lucifer invited Beelzebub to come to the Garden of Eden with them and Azazel mentioned how the apples there are very yummy. When he saw Beelzebub was unconvinced, Azazel wondered why and Samael said only he would be enticed by food.
After Beelzebub cut Samael off from talking and told him to go, Samael felt dejected and Azazel tried to comfort him. Beelzebub brought up how everyone said he was cursed by Satan, which is why he doesn't want them around but Lucifer didn't believe that Satan even existed.
Azazel, Lucifer and Samael convince Beelzebub to follow them
Azazel tried to back him up by saying he's never eaten Satan before, only to get confused when Samael said that Satan wasn't food. To try and dispel Beelzebub's doubts, Azazel declared he would hack Satan to bits but Samael doubted he could, saying Azazel would tap out after stubbing his toe. Grabbing Samael by the collar, Azazel threatened to wallop him, only to suddenly fart, causing him, Samael and Lucifer to go silent. This actually caused Beelzebub to chuckle and after that, Beelzebub begrudgingly went with the three to Eden.
At Eden, Azazel and Samael picked many apples from a tree, which was forbidden. The two threw them down to Lucifer, who would throw them to Beelzebub. When the guards came, all four ran away.
Azazel and Samael are killed by Beelzebub possessed by Satan
After eating the apples, they went to swim at a nearby lake before grilling some fish in the forest to eat. Azazel took many grilled fish for himself and Samael scolded him for it. The two, along with Lucifer, then saw that Beelzebub was smiling widely. Azazel and Samael danced around the fire they made while Beelzebub and Lucifer cheered them on. Shortly after, Beelzebub fell under the influence of his Demonic Destrudo and unconsciously killed Samael right in front of Azazel's eyes. Azazel tried getting Beelzebub to stop but ended up having his heart torn through as well, with Beelzebub proceeding to kill Lucifer last.
Abilities[]
Semi-Immortality: As an angel, Azazel is incapable of dying due to old age.
Angelic Physiology: As an angel, Azazel possesses physical abilities far greater than any ordinary Human. His body can not be harmed by mortal weapons. However, he can still be harmed by unarmed attacks from individuals with superhuman strength and Divine Weapons.
Trivia[]
- In some Christian beliefs, Azazel is considered an fallen angel and one of the leaders of "Watchers".
