Summary[]
Susano'o's Mirror[]
After Susano'o no Mikoto was exiled, in Takamagahara, Amaterasu Okami hears Tsukuyomi no Mikoto groaning out of frustration in front of a mirror. Addressing her brother, Amaterasu asks Tsukuyomi if he's watching Susano'o through the Yata no Kagami again. With Susano'o in his crow form reflected in the mirror in front of him, Tsukuyomi turns back to his sister and complains about how Susano'o is being way too reckless, flying all over the place ever since he descended to Earth. Wanting him to be quiet, Amaterasu sighs about what a worrywart Tsukuyomi is.
Tsukuyomi starts wishing they had a tool that can show someone what's happening, anywhere, and give it to Susano'o. If Susano'o had that, Tsukuyomi doesn't think he would need to fly around everywhere anymore. Amaterasu goes along with him and wishes they had something like that, only to realize they do in fact, have such a thing as she looks at Tsukuyomi watching Susano'o through the Yata no Kagami. On Earth, Susano'o arrives back in his cave and changes back into his normal form, unable to decide whether he should go east or west tomorrow.
Walking further into the cave, Susano'o laments at how, if he goes west, he won't be able to witness the completion of an eastern sword master's technique but on the other hand, a sword master in the west is also about to complete a technique. At that moment, Susano'o notices Amaterasu's Yata no Kagami is now in his cave. Realizing this means he'll be able to see both sword masters' techniques without needing to fly to either one, Susano'o smiles and remarks on how his older siblings are so sweet on him. Later on, Tsukuyomi would complain to Amaterasu about Susano'o holing himself up in the cave, much to Amaterasu's exasperation.
Carrying the Blue on His Back[]
After Round 10, outside the medbay, the Shinsengumi wonder whether Soji Okita will be okay. Keisuke Yamanami doesn't think they need to worry since Isami Kondo is with him. Shinpachi Nagakura uses this opportunity to sigh about how Toshizo Hijikata still didn't come watch with them. Hajime Saito smirks about how Toshizo must be burning hot after watching Soji's fight and is training it off right now. He bets Toshizo is yelling something like, "I'm the strongest!", to which the other Shinsengumi members agree is very like him. Shinpachi proclaims, in that case, the rest of them can't lose out: to neither Toshizo or Soji.
Elsewhere, at the remains of a temple, Toshizo practices swinging his sword, having slashed up a statue earlier. Toshizo curses how Soji has become an even more unbelievable monster but declares himself to be the strongest nonetheless. After sneezing, Toshizo puts his haori back on and stretches his arms, deciding the next thing to do is to figure out how to use Susano'o no Mikoto's Musouken.
