Substitute is the 54th chapter of the "Shuumatsu no Valkyrie: Record of Ragnarok" manga series.
Summary[]
As Buddha continues walking to the exit, Humanity keeps up their cheers for him. While the Gods are in astonishment at how strong Buddha turned out to be, Zero disappears, leaving only the handle of the Misery Cleaver. The bird that Zerofuku saved long ago comes down and perches itself onto the handle of the Misery Cleaver, crying.

Humanity expresses their gratitude to Zerofuku
Buddha remarks on how it seems it wasn't just him who loved Zerofuku as the people that Zerofuku saved long ago also begin crying for him. After going through the exit, Buddha ties his hair back up with the Misery Cleaver's handle and is met by both Brunhilde and Göll. He gives them a peace sign and Göll gives two peace signs back, happy with his victory.
Suddenly, Buddha falls to the ground. Several nurses appear and begin gurneying Buddha towards the sickbay. Göll asks Buddha not to die on them and just as they reach the sickbay, Buddha calls out for Brunhilde. The Valkyrie bows and thanks Buddha for saving them. Disregarding her thanks, Buddha asks if Brunhilde can get him some of his branded cola lollipops. Chuckling, Brunhilde promises to send him a batch later, so much that he'll get cavities.

Buddha likes Brunhilde's eyes as they're filled with worldly desire
Grinning, Buddha asks if this means Brunhilde is one more step towards her goal. Brunhilde says that thanks to Buddha, Humanity is one step closer to being saved from destruction. However, Buddha knows that isn't her real goal and calls her stubborn for acting like it. He then says it's fine since he likes her eyes, so full of worldly desire. Buddha suddenly coughs up blood and the nurses fully take him into the sickbay while Göll wonders what Buddha was talking about.
In his room, Beelzebub begins burning all his documents related to his experiments with Hajun. Odin appears and says he knew that Hajun was Beelzebub's doing.

Beelzebub finds Odin's claims of waiting for Ragnarok to happen to be "intriguing"
When Beelzebub doesn't speak, Huginn & Muninn yell at him not to ignore them, cursing at Beelzebub. They rave about Beelzebub doing another weird experiment, only for them to stop when Odin takes in a breath. Odin reveals he's waited a long time for Ragnarok to occur and will not allow it to be disrupted. As the room fills with Odin's aura, Beelzebub remarks on how Odin said he's been waiting for this for a long time and smirks, admitting he finds that intriguing, much to Odin's frustration.
At the Greek Gods' viewing room, Hermes goes over the six rounds and sees that they're tied up at 3-3. He calls it a bitter loss, on top of Buddha's betrayal of them. He asserts the tide of the tournament will end up changing if Humanity scores another win and Zeus breaks the ground by expanding the muscles in his legs, insisting they have to win the next round, by any means necessary.

"This is revenge... for my dear brother, Poseidon."
Hermes asks what Zeus intends to do about Buddha's spot and as Zeus says they can't be too careful about who they pick, Hermes looks over at Ares. Ares begins inwardly questioning if Hermes wants him to take Buddha's spot and notes that it is natural that they would place expectations on him, as he is a God of War. He begins worrying over how he might die since Humanity has proven to be much stronger than he anticipated but Ares pumps himself up, telling himself he can do it. His whole thought process took 0.25 seconds. Though nervous, Ares attempts to volunteer himself to go up next, only for Hades to reveal he'll be the one fighting next, much to the surprise of Ares, Hermes and Zeus. Zeus wonders what has suddenly gotten into Hades and as he gets up, Hades calls that a foolish question with an obvious answer. Taking off the eyepatch over his right eye and crushing it, Hades reveals he wants to get revenge for his younger brother, Poseidon.
