Science's Counterattack is the 71st chapter of the "Shuumatsu no Valkyrie: Record of Ragnarok" manga series.
Summary[]
Brunhilde, Göll, Hermes, Ares, Odin, Huginn & Muninn, Loki, Kojiro Sasaki, Soji Okita and Isami Kondo react with shock at the sight of Nikola Tesla's Gematria Zone. Michel Nostradamus calls it a pretty illusion. Heimdall questions what's going on and announces that both Tesla and Beelzebub are surrounded by dazzling lights. The kids in Humanity's crowd are enchanted by Tesla floating and two argue about whether it's a magic trick or real. Upon hearing that, Thomas Edison says "No. Non. Nein." and insists it's neither magic nor a mere trick: it's science.

Tesla envisions the anti-gravity device and other inventions that he still can't build in his time
In 1943, just after Tesla's death, a massive amount of unpublished research papers were stolen from his home. The culprit was believed to be either the FBI or the KGB. Both the Americans and Soviets were after the "scientific superweapons," said to have been created by Tesla himself.
One of the devices he was said to have developed was mankind's everlasting dream. An anti-gravity system, capable of manipulating gravity at will. Göll is surprised to hear Tesla made an anti-gravity system but Brunhilde clarifies he couldn't make it at the time as the materials to make it a reality didn't exist, though the anti-gravity system had long been complete in Tesla's mind.
Created using Göndul as its foundation, the Super Automaton β scattered a certain type of particle in the midst of battle along with the electricity. It is known as the "Super Tesla Particle." When those particles fill the area, the Völundr's Tesla coils react, allowing the anti-gravity system to operate. Göll understands that is what the Gematria Zone is. At first in awe, Göll then asks what exactly Super Tesla Particles are.

Beelzebub likes the Gematria Zone
Brunhilde admits she doesn't know. There is only one man who does – Human History's One and Only Sorcerer, Nikola Tesla. Looking at the Prison of the Gods that Tesla created, Beelzebub admits he likes it since it suits him. Drawing back his right fist as it fills with electricity, Tesla says it's far too early for Beelzebub to take a liking to it. Tesla then closes the distance between himself and Beelzebub as he tells the Lord of the Flies to behold his power up close.

Tesla manages to overcome Beelzebub's defenses and damage him with one punch
Surprised by his speed, Beelzebub grips the Staff of Apomyius with his left hand and invokes Sorath Samekh, pushing Tesla back. As Beelzebub's left shoulder spurts blood, Heimdall declares Beelzebub has had his blood drawn for the first time in Round 8. Ares is astonished by how fast Tesla moved just now but Hermes says his speed didn't change that much. Ares says he's lying but Hermes says that running, for both God and man, means continuously kicking one's feet off the ground to move forward. It takes a certain amount of time until one reaches top speed. In other words, acceleration is crucial. But Tesla, who is floating with the anti-gravity system, is able to reach top speed with just a single stride.
He can get close without any preliminary movement, as if he's riding the lightning itself. Ares doesn't really get it but thanks Hermes for his explanation. As he hears people in Humanity's crowd express their astonishment, Edison says that reaching top speed on his starting step is what Tesla calls Zero Max. Pointing at Beelzebub with his left index finger, Tesla praises his magnificent reaction speed. As Tesla closes the distance again in an instant so his pointing finger is right in front of Beelzebub's face, Tesla wants Beelzebub to tell him what he thinks of this and prepares to punch with his right fist again.

Tesla attacks Beelzebub and the latter defends himself
Beelzebub raises the Staff of Apomyius with his left hand in order to use his barrier but Tesla shifts to the left and behind him. Beelzebub manages to follow him, only for Tesla to move right behind the God again as he turns. Heimdall calls it an insanely quick reversal as Tesla uses Plasma Pulse Punch. Beelzebub uses Sorath Samekh in response and after that brief clash, Beelzebub's face is cut. Huginn questions how since his shield was out and Loki says it's because Beelzebub's defense vibrations weren't fully functioning, causing Loki to call Tesla a pain. As Tesla charges in to use Plasma Pulse Punch again, Beelzebub calls him a nuisance and raises his vibrating right hand.

Tesla manages to avoid Beelzebub's vibration blade
He makes a large swipe but Tesla manages to dodge by leaning back, causing Beelzebub's attack to partially cut through one of the pillars. Gripping onto the Staff of Apomyius and applying the vibrations of his right hand to it, Beelzebub tells Tesla to break. Göll panics about Beelzebub's incoming attack while Tesla smirks. Beelzebub unleashes Sorath Vau but Tesla jumps away while still leaning back the whole time. Tesla rapidly spins around on the floor in the same position and makes his way towards Beelzebub.
Joining his hands together, Tesla then crosses his feet before leaping at Beelzebub, spinning and attacking with Plasma Pulse Punch Surprise. Taken off-guard, the Lord of the Flies attempts to block it with Sorath Samekh but because the vibrations weren't out in time, Tesla's attack causes Beelzebub to spit out blood as he is sent flying back. Beelzebub lands on the ground as Tesla stands upright. Ares questions what that weird movement was and Hermes calls it a surprise.

Tesla uses the Tesla Step to try to confuse Beelzebub
Tesla says that not even the Gods can predict where his ingenious feet will take him and reveals he calls this move, Tesla Step. As Tesla haughtily laughs, Galileo Galilei thinks that sounds completely and utterly lame while Marie Curie is embarrassed. Zeus says that's a tricky technique, never having seen any maneuvers like that. Adamantine then points out Beelzebub can already see through it. Tesla performs Tesla Step Wonderful, moving all across the ground before Beelzebub, leaving afterimages around.
Heimdall says the name may be ridiculous but it's an astounding maneuver as Tesla dances circles around Beelzebub. Coming from the left, Tesla uses Plasma Pulse Punch with his left fist but the Ruler of Evil Spirits dodges.

Beelzebub manages to use his vibrations to defend himself from an attack by Tesla
With Tesla's back in front of him, Beelzebub raises the Staff of Apomyius with his right hand. He is about to attack, only for Tesla to forcibly stop himself in place. Tesla declares this is the finish as he swings his right fist behind him, at Beelzebub. The attack seemingly hits and both Göll and Brunhilde cheer. However, Tesla is blown back through the smoke created by his attack as it's shown that Beelzebub managed to block Tesla's attack with Sorath Samekh in time. As Heimdall declares the freeform Tesla Step has been completely shut down, Adamantine says that he's never liked his attitude but admits when it comes to fighting, Beelzebub is one of the best in Helheim.
He criticizes Tesla for being cocky and letting too many tricks out of the bag, guessing it's over now. Adamantine asks Zeus if he agrees and Zeus does but finds something strange.

Tesla teleports behind Beelzebub and lands a punch directly on him
Beelzebub says he's seen enough of that and as he blows away the smoke, he asserts that Tesla's fist will no longer reach him. Tesla says "No! Nyet! Nein!" in response before adding, "The wonders of yesterday are today's common occurrences." Tesla says science has no end as it is ever-advancing. As Beelzebub prepares, Tesla mutters "Q.E.D." and a large amount of electricity crackles from his hands. Tesla orders the Gods that have gathered to observe. Crossing his arms, Tesla emits a bright light and then seemingly vanishes, much to Beelzebub's confusion. Reappearing behind Beelzebub, Tesla tells them to observe their wisdom and swings his right fist, causing a massive pillar of electricity to consume the stage.
