Phoebus Apollo is the 80th chapter of the "Shuumatsu no Valkyrie: Record of Ragnarok" manga series.
Summary[]
The Sun God possesses a great, mysterious Divine Weapon. It is known as the Threads of Artemis. When he plucks them up in the heavens, it becomes his lyre. When it comes to defending against the heavy clubs of the Giants, it becomes his impenetrable shield. When piercing through great boulders, it becomes an arrow of pure light. That is all according to the legends of Delphi. Heimdall declares Leonidas' full-strength attack has hit Apollo dead-on.

Phalanx Enchos: Prodevo
As Apollo falls through the air, the Spartans cheer while the Goddesses are saddened. Flipping in the air, Apollo lands on the ground. Annoyed, Leonidas draws his shield back and digs it into the ground behind him. Leonidas then swings his shield forward while dragging it through the ground, using Phalanx Enchos: Prodevo. While Heimdall says Leonidas is following up on an injured Apollo, Apollo performs a handspring to dodge the shield. Getting on his feet, Apollo is revealed to be unharmed and many of the Goddesses cheer about how beautiful he is. Because of how gracefully he dodged it, Heimdall wonders if Apollo has already healed.
Göll is confused as to how Apollo is able to move around so easily, even though he got directly hit. Furthermore, she questions why Apollo's hands are sparkly. Brunhilde reveals the gloves that Apollo is wearing are his Divine Weapon: the Threads of Artemis. As threads come out of Apollo's fingertips, Göll expresses her belief that the sparkly threads seem weak for a Divine Weapon but Brunhilde says they aren't ordinary threads. Through his sheer light energy, Apollo is able to spin those threads into existence.

Apollo equips Phoebus' Lyre
Although Phalanx Enchos looked like a direct hit, Apollo mitigated the impact by entangling the shield's blades with his threads. The Threads of Artemis can be used for both attacking and defending. Because of their infinite uses, Brunhilde considers the Threads of Artemis to be one of the strongest Divine Weapons. Göll wonders what attacking with thread even means and Brunhilde tells her to watch and see. Apollo twirls his index fingers as thread comes out of them. The threads bunch up into a hand shape and Apollo places his hands into the threads, resulting in the Threads of Artemis being transformed into Phoebus' Lyre – boxing bracers with studded knuckles and pronounced wristbands.

Apollo takes a boxing stance
Goddesses squeal over how Apollo is shining brighter than usual and Apollo encourages his beauties to not take their eyes off him. Taking out another cigar and lighting it, Leonidas figures out that the threads stopped his attack and thinks about how much of a pain it'll be. Also, Leonidas voices his dislike about how sparkly it is and Apollo shrugs in response. Calling Apollo a little shit all the way, Leonidas raises his shield as the center portion of it goes back down. Leonidas begins to practice jabbing the shield in rapid succession. Telling Apollo to drop dead, Leonidas unleashes Phalanx Asanatos and thrusts his shield at Apollo by extending the chain multiple times. Taking up a boxing stance, Apollo advances while bobbing and weaving through Leonidas' barrage at the same time. The Spartans can't believe none of Leonidas' attacks are hitting him and Zeus chuckles about how Apollo's footwork is beyond superb of the "Boxing God."

Apollo lands a punch on Leonidas' face
Zeus guesses Apollo decided Leonidas' attacks are too dangerous to receive and Ares agrees since the Threads of Artemis couldn't entirely defend Apollo from the damage. As Apollo goes to the side, Hermes recalls how Leonidas had told Apollo to never stand against a Spartan but he wonders if Leonidas will be the one caught by Apollo. As he keeps his barrage up, Leonidas finds that he is unable to inflict even a scratch on the Sun God as he keeps weaving through his attacks. As Apollo jumps to the side again while getting closer, Leonidas draws his shield back completely before he deals out another quick barrage. Apollo ends up next to Leonidas, unharmed, and punches his face with a left straight. Leonidas is pushed back but stands his ground and kicks the chain of his shield itself to swing the shield at Apollo's head. However, Apollo is too quick and ducks to avoid the attack. After moving back, Apollo compliments the King of Sparta for being so tough.

Apollo ducks under Leonidas' impromptu attack
Spitting out blood, Leonidas tells him to be more humble and does Phalanx Asanatos again. Apollo doesn't think Leonidas' attacks are beautiful at all and moves to the side before closing the distance and punching the face of the Strongest Rebel in Human History three times. As Heimdall says that Apollo's swift and beautiful footwork lets him slip through the violent storm of blows, Leonidas retracts his shield back into place and swings it. Stepping back, Apollo avoids it before punching Leonidas with his right fist. After Apollo moves back to dodge Leonidas swinging his shield, Leonidas extends his shield at Apollo, who moves past it while going forward. Punching Leonidas back with his left fist, Apollo circles around Leonidas and he begins to deliver a series of punches from all sides.

Apollo claims the border he set up is a more suitable ring
One Spartan soldier curses how Leonidas is like a punching bag and Hagis wishes for Leonidas to hang in there. Hagis shouts out that if Leonidas could stop Apollo's movements and land one hit, the Sun God would definitely go down, which causes Apollo to stop moving. The Spartans yell at Apollo to quit running away and to fight fair-and-square. The Gods think it's nonsense for the Humans to want a fair fight as they believe it's too risky for them, with one God saying that Leonidas' attacks are too dangerous so Apollo's hit-and-run strategy is the right call as victory is all that matters. Apollo hears yelling coming from the Human side while hearing praise from the Gods. As Apollo lowers his fists, Ares realizes what's happening and says this is bad. Leonidas is confused when he sees Apollo drop his fists. Summoning two threads, Apollo then whips those threads across the ground to create two parallel lines to act as a border around him and Leonidas. Both Göll and Brunhilde question what he's doing.

For I am the ultimate existence, the Sun God... Apollo!
Smiling, Apollo says the ring seems to have been too wide and that this size feels right for them. This surprises the Spartans and prompts Ares to sigh. As he grits his teeth in anger, Leonidas asks him what he's playing at and Apollo thinks that's a foolish question since this is what everyone wanted. As the two crowds look on in awe, Apollo decided to give an advantageous playing field to Leonidas but he will crush the King of Sparta with ease nonetheless. He will answer everyone's expectations without fail as he is the ultimate existence: the Sun God, Apollo.
