Brunhilde confronts Loki

Brunhilde confronts "Odin"

Brunhilde walks alone, in an indoor area with a fountain. She's looking down in thought when Odin approaches her, without his ravens. He says it's reached its end and clarifies he's talking about Humanity's fate and Brunhilde herself. At first taken aback, Brunhilde makes an upset expression and defiantly stands off against the Norse God. Odin warns Brunhilde to prepare herself but Brunhilde lets out a sigh and criticizes him for playing around too much, revealing she knows it's Loki in disguise.

As his appearance as Odin fades, Loki is disappointed that Brunhilde wasn't scared and smiles about how she isn't fun at all. Not caring for his antics, Brunhilde goes past Loki and tries to walk away but Loki panickily tells her to wait, exclaiming he came to save her. Brunhilde doesn't seem convinced and Loki explains that, if the Gods win two more matches then Ragnarok will be over. On top of that, he and Odin are still waiting for their turns, so Loki believes Humanity has zero chance of winning. After it's all over, Loki thinks Odin will murder Brunhilde with his own hands as, though she had an official right to invoke Ragnarok, Odin won’t forgive the attitude she showed at the conference regarding mankind’s survival. Brunhilde stares blankly, unfazed at the threat.

Loki offers Brunhilde

Loki offers to ask Odin to only spare Brunhilde

Floating in front of her, Loki claims he might be able to save just Brunhilde. After all, the Gods don't really care about what happens to demigods and Zeus only cares about having fun. In normal circumstances, Loki admits it would be impossible but he insists he'll be able to convince Odin more than most. Loki normally wouldn't get involved but he doesn't want to see any unnecessary killing so he can ask for a special favor. Landing on the ground, Loki seems to think it's a good idea and wants to go through with it but Brunhilde smirks and suggestively asks him what he wants from her in return. Taken aback, Loki asserts to Brunhilde that this is coming from his heart but Brunhilde answers she has no interest. Walking away, she says that, no matter how this ends up, if she's the only one to survive, there's no point. As Brunhilde goes, Loki tries to reach out for her but pulls back his hand and grits his teeth.

Repeating how she said there's "no point," Loki tauntingly wishes to Brunhilde that he hopes Siegfried's rescue goes well. The mention of Siegfried causes Brunhilde to stop in her tracks with widened eyes. Smiling again, Loki excitedly says he got it right and reveals he knew there's no way this Ragnarok has nothing to do with him. Loki guesses Siegfried is why Brunhilde is willing to fight anyone and why she’s willing to throw her life away. Turning her head back, Brunhilde coldly stares at Loki and tells him it has nothing to do with him. As Loki's smile drops, Brunhilde remains steadfast in her belief that they will win and save Humanity so she advises Loki to worry more about himself before leaving.

Loki with Brunhilde doll

Even though... I've always... always... been so utterly... in love with you...

Later on, in his personal room, while brushing the hair of a life-size doll that’s sitting on a chair, Loki says that was a real shock and remarks on how Brunhilde said something so cold. He can't believe she even said it has nothing to do with him and stared at him with such cold eyes. As various pieces for a doll lay on a table nearby, Loki puts down the hairbrush and embraces the doll on the chair. With the doll revealed to be a life-size model of Brunhilde, Loki sighs about how he's always been utterly in love with her. Meanwhile, the real Brunhilde stands atop the edges of the Valhalla Arena and looks up at the sky.

Buddha inquires Odin about Siegfried

Buddha asks Odin about Siegfried

Elsewhere, the real Odin is walking down a hallway with Huginn & Muninn perched on his shoulders. Leaning against the wall, dressed in a Sherlock Holmes-inspired outfit and holding a smoking pipe, Buddha asks Odin if everything has gone according to plan so far, referring to him as "Dindin." Odin questions what Buddha wants and Huginn & Muninn angrily rave about him showing up in front of them despite betraying them, also insulted by Buddha's getup and his nickname for Odin. Approaching Odin, Buddha takes out a magnifying glass and puts it right near Odin's face, noting his outfit doesn't even make him blink.

Odin says he has no time to waste chatting with him and tries to walk away, only for Buddha to suddenly ask him who Siegfried is, also activating Pure Enlightenment Eighth Consciousness at the same time. While Odin pauses, the ravens are visibly surprised to hear Buddha mention him. Buddha reveals to Odin that he already asked Sakata Kintoki to poke around a bunch for him and he found out that Siegfried has been locked up in Tartarus for a long time. Buddha adds it was on Odin's order too but Odin stays silent.

Gungnir

Odin summons his Divine Weapon

Huginn & Muninn label Siegfried as a grievous criminal so it's obvious that he'd be locked up. Buddha recounts how Siegfried stole Odin’s magic sword, Gram, and killed his favorite fire dragon, Fafnir. But he brings up how Tartarus is usually reserved for things like insurrection against Valhalla or the assassination of major Gods. To Buddha, what Siegfried did doesn't seem nearly bad enough to merit being locked up in Tartarus. Biting the smoking pipe, Buddha then mentions that if someone really did piss Odin off, he'd usually eradicate them instead of locking them up, which is why this is fishy to him. Odin asks him what he’s implying and Buddha recalls how Siegfried is Brunhilde's lover. While Brunhilde may have started Ragnarok to save Humanity, Buddha believes she's also doing it to save her beloved too. Snapping off part of the smoking pipe, Buddha guesses Siegfried's rescue is something that Odin won't abide by.

Stepping close to Odin again, Buddha would like to know what the link is between Ragnarok and rescuing Siegfried, as well as why Odin imprisoned Siegfried instead of killing him. Staring at Odin through the magnifying glass, Buddha suggests Siegfried could be someone important to Odin and would like him to answer that with a simple yes or no. Smirking, with the veins around his eyes visible, Odin angrily questions if Buddha has finished with his insufferable word vomit. As Buddha and Huginn & Muninn look shocked to see him like this, Odin lifts up his right hand and summons black streaks around it. The black streaks then solidify into Odin’s Divine Weapon, Gungnir.

Beelzebub deflects Odin attack

Beelzebub deflects Odin's attack

As Huginn & Muninn fly off his shoulders, Odin claims Buddha's suspicions are of no concern to him. Seeing what his next move will be, Buddha jumps back at the same time that Odin stabs the other end of Gungnir into the floor, causing the floor and the walls to crumble into pieces. Taking off his Sherlock Holmes outfit, Buddha wonders if this is what happens whenever Odin gets angry. Huginn & Muninn hold each other, frightened. Odin declares he shall exterminate anyone who infringes upon his domain, no matter who they are. Taking up a stance, ready for battle, Buddha is curious to know exactly what he said touched upon Odin's domain. Odin raises Gungnir but at the same time, a hooded person approaches from Buddha's rear, claiming to be interested too. As his hood comes off, Beelzebub says he feels he must know, with his appearance further surprising Huginn & Muninn.

Beelzebub ask Odin about Arche

Beelzebub asks if Odin wants to revive the Primordial Gods

Buddha moves to the side and Beelzebub counters Odin's swing of Gungnir with Sorath Vau. Pointing the Staff of Apomyius at Odin, Beelzebub wants to know his "deep desire" that he spoke of. Buddha questions where this is going and just as Odin expresses his anger at him for interfering, Beelzebub asks if Odin's desire is the revival of the "Archē": the Primordial Gods. Buddha and the ravens are shocked to hear him mention the Primordial Gods. Odin widely smirks in response.

At the fighting stage, the audience can't believe how huge the ring is this time. Göll is also amazed and Brunhilde confirms to her that this ring is modelled after Kyoto, during the Bakumatsu. Round 10 between Susano’o no Mikoto and Soji Okita is about to begin.
