Chiyou is an ancient Demon God (魔神, Majin), considered to be a God of War (戦神, Ikusagami) or a God of Militaries (武神, Bushin) by the people in and around the state of Qi before the unification of China. He once dwelled in the caves of Ancient China.
Appearance[]
Chiyou is a massive and muscular demon with a pair of horns on both side of his head and has a tendrils for beards, He also has bandages around his horns and arms. Tattoos cover his face and chest.
Personality[]
Chiyou is an evil and arrogant demon who likes to eat Human flesh. He believes that anyone who wants to be a king in China need his permission in order to rule and that they should kneel before him.
Plot[]
Past[]
At some point, Chiyou appeared in Ancient China and the people started to worship him as a God of War or Militaries, who invented the five tools of war (the crossbow, the sword, the halberd, the spear and the armor). He started to demand that everyone who wished to be a king in china should give him sacrifices and kneel before him. If they refused to, Chiyou would dethrone and kill them. Chiyou would do this for hundreds of years until Qin Shi Huang appeared and unified China.
When the King of Qin came to see him, Chiyou demanded a sacrifice of ten thousand people and also ordered Qin Shi Huang to kneel before him for the right to be an Emperor, a king among kings. When Qin Shi Huang refused to and tricked Chiyou into eating a soldier made out of dirt, also claiming that all the kings who passed before him were not true kings, Chiyou was furious and decided to kill Qin Shi Huang. After a fight that lasted six whole days, Chiyou was defeated and from that point on, the history of China passed into the hands of man, with Qin Shi Huang becoming the first Emperor of reunified China.
Abilities[]
Demonic Strength: As a demon, Chiyou possesses physical abilities far greater than most Humans. He was powerful enough to be worshiped as a God of War in China and fought against Qin Shi Huang on equal terms for six days before losing.
Demonic Endurance & Stamina: Chiyou was capable of exerting himself to his physical and mental limit throughout the duration of his fight against Qin Shi Huang. Even after taking multiple hits from the Chinese Emperor and fighting for six whole days, Chiyou was still able to continue fighting without passing out.
Arm Creation: Chiyou can create aditional arms at will. With the extra limbs, Chiyou gains superior dexterity in combat. Being able to defend himself from oncoming strikes with one or two arms whilst attacking his opponents with the remaining arm(s). These arms can also disappear if Chiyou desires.
Unarmed Combat Proficiency: Chiyou was never seen using any weapons in his fight with Qin Shi Huang. By using his additional arms, Chiyou gains superior dexterity in combat and has access to a wider variety of attacks.
Trivia[]
- Chiyou was a tribal leader of the Nine Li tribe in ancient China. He is best known as a king who lost against the future Yellow Emperor during the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors era in Chinese mythology. For the Hmong people, Chiyou was a sagacious mythical king. He has a particularly complex and controversial ancestry, as he may fall under Dongyi, Miao or even Man, depending on the source and view. Today, Chiyou is honored and worshipped as the God of War and one of the three legendary founding fathers of China. Chiyou is also venerated as an ancestor-king by the Miao (Hmong) people, whose name in their language is Txiv Yawg.
