Divine Weapons (神器, Jingi) are weapons that have been created by the Gods.

Overview

Divine Weapons are tools used by the Gods. Only Gods are capable of forging them and they are one of the main reasons for the Gods' tremendous power over Humanity.

While Divine Weapons are superior to all man-made weapons, they can and have been broken by another Divine Weapon. Divine Weapons are also capable of harming and killing Gods and other supernatural beings, unlike their man-made counterparts.

It is unknown what materials are necessary for the creation of a Divine Weapon. However, it is known that some Divine Weapons, such as Thor's hammer, use Orichalcum in their composition.

Völundr

A Völundr is the act of uniting the soul of a Human with the soul of a Valkyrie, which transforms the Valkyrie into a Divine Weapon most suitable for that Human, while also allowing the Human to fight at the peak of his potential.
