Ebisu has a short temper and hotheaded personality whenever someone annoys him or when he's around enemies. He speaks in a loud voice whether its from pain or from being surprised.
Plot[]
Past[]
After absorbing too much misfortune and feeling betrayed by humanity, Zerofuku decided to go on a killing spree in order to punish them. However, the first two people that he decided to kill were a mother and her child, feeling hesitant Zerofuku ended up splitting his soul into seven parts in order to stop himself from harming humanity. After that, the legends of the Seven Lucky Gods and the Eighth Lucky God were born.
Ragnarok: Fifth Round[]
During the fifth fight of Ragnarok between Shiva and Raiden Tameemon, Loki and Buddha have a confrontation about Loki's suspicions of Buddha being a traitor. During this confrontation, Ebisu and the rest of the Seven Lucky Gods leap into the area, attempting to kill Buddha alongside Loki, with Kojiro Sasaki and Soji Okita leaping in to defend Buddha. Ebisu attempts to shoot Buddha using his divine weapon, but Buddha dodges the bullets. The bullets melted the fountain behind them as Buddha mocked Ebisu.
Loki then started with his attack by conjuring chain scythes out of his palms.
Before the two parties can begin truly fighting, Zeus and Odin enter and break up the fight as Zeus split the ground in front of them with his fist. Ebisu argues against Zeus and Odin that they were about to deliver heaven's punishment to Buddha, but Odin intimidated all of them to stop what they were doing. Loki and the Seven Lucky Gods were frustrated that they couldn't kill Buddha at the time, so they told Buddha they'll find another opportunity to confront him without any interference.
Ragnarok: Sixth Round[]
Before the sixth round, Benzaiten, Hoteison, and Ebisu were in the hospital as she was treating Ebisu's wounds. Ebisu cursed Buddha for wounding his left hand while screaming in pain as Benzaiten was treating his wounds. Ebisu told his intentions of killing Buddha to Benzaiten and Hoteison as the latter advised him not due to Buddha's strength. Bishamonten, Fukurokuju, Jurojin, and Daikokuten were about to visit the other Lucky Gods as they caught Göll eavesdropping on the medical ward.
Göll accidentally entered the medical ward alerting the other Lucky Gods inside the room, whom turn their attention towards Göll as Ebisu angrily questioned her about eavesdropping. Göll was panicking from the gods until Jack the Ripper entered the room with a teapot and cup while quoting a Shakespearean line. Jack offered Ebisu a cup of tea, but Ebisu rejected it and was about to pick a fight against Jack until Bishamonten told him to stand down.
The Lucky Gods left the hospital as Benzaiten was dragging Ebisu away from the back of his shirt to prevent him from attacking his enemies.
Ebisu and the rest of the Lucky Gods later made their appearance in the arena on a flying boat while singing a short tune on how they will now deliver "Heaven's punishment" to Buddha. The seven later fused together into Zerofuku to fight against Buddha. After Buddha makes volund with Zerofuku, Ebisu is seen with the other Lucky Gods, having make up with Buddha. Following Hajun's death, Zerofuku, who was previously absorbed into Hajun, also passes away, and alongside his other soul fragments, the Seven Lucky Gods, they wave Buddha a final goodbye before being banished to Niflhel.
Abilities[]

Divine Physiology: As a god, Ebisu posses physical abilities far greater than any ordinary human. His body can not be harmed by mortal weapons, however he can still be harmed by unarmed attacks from individuals with superhuman strength and divine weapons.
Fishing and Trading abilities: As the Shinto god of fortune in fishing and trading, it can be assumed that Ebisu possess some abilities related to fishing and trading.
Fusion: When Jack the Ripper glimpsed at his soul with his eye along with the other Seven Lucky Gods, Jack realized that they all shared the same soul as one entity. He can unite himself with the other Seven Lucky Gods to become a more powerful being.
