Synopsis[]
Despite Kojiro’s Niten Ganryu duel blade method, Poseidon’s powerful attacks continue to wear him down. But the battle isn’t over yet.
Plot[]
Poseidon begins to whistle, then combs his hair with his blood. He tells Kojiro he is arrogant to believe that he can read his moves. In an instant, Poseidon attacks and pieces Kojiro. Poseidon decides to skip using special moves and use straightforward attacks. Even though Kojiro can see them, he is not able to avoid them.
Poseidon then attacks with Medusa Alope Demeter, a tempest of attacks and fast movement that creates a visual dome around Kojiro. Kojiro manages to block most of the attacks, but feels this will be the end of him. In that moment, he feels the support of his former opponents and swordsmen, who know that Kojiro has yet to show his true skills. Inspired and wanting to win, Kojiro manages to block and stop Poseidon's attack. As Poseidon starts new attack, Kojiro is not only able to read his movements, but also the flutters of the air and the vibrations in the earth.
Kojiro then dodges Poseidon's lighting fast attacks, while getting close to Poseidon and uses Ninten Ganryu Ougi - Soen Zanko Banjin Ryoran, cutting Poseidon's right arm and trident. Poseidon manages to grab the broken trident and attempts to strike Kojiro, however, Kojiro is faster and cuts Poseidon's left arm. Poseidon doesn't give up and grabs the trident with his teeth, however, using Musashi's move, Kojiro cross slices Poseidon in four.
The unbelievable has happened and humanity earns their first win. Shocked, Heimdall announces Kojiro as the winner of the third round. With Poseidon reduced to dust, the gods cannot believe a human had killed a god and sit silent in shock. Mankind is excited and as they celebrate, they chant Kojiro's name. Brunhilde is happy believing this will wake up the gods and make them see the potential of mankind.
A path opens for Kojiro to leave the arena, but feeling exhausted, he starts to fall. Hrist turns to her normal form and captures Kojiro. Göll is happy to see Hrist, but Hrist bad personality yells at her to shut up, while her good personality tells Göll that she settled the score as she promised. In Zeus' room, Shiva and Loki are angry at what happened and Loki wonders why Zeus is so calm considering his older brother died.
Zeus states that the human was simply stronger. He admits that mankind is indeed strong and that Brunhilde truly intends to defeat the gods, thus they need to take this seriously.
Shiva decides to go next, however, Zeus interrupts him stating that the Greek gods have debt to pay to mankind. Seeing Zeus, Ares and Hermes' anger, Shiva and Loki agree for a Greek god to go next.
Göll sees Brunhilde speaking with Hermes, but Brunhilde doesn't reveal what they talked about. Heimdall announces the result is 2 to 1 for the gods and the next round is about to begin. The arena is getting remodeled and turned into 19th-century London, per mankind's fighter request and the god fighter accepted. Heimdall introduces mankind's fighter, the one who on August 31, 1888, threw whole London into fear, the evilest of evil and mankind's most celebrated murderer, Jack the Ripper.
Humanity is shocked and can't believe the murderer, Jack the Ripper, is the next fighter. Heimdall proceeds with god's fighter announcement. The valiant warrior who pummeled into submission the Nemean Lion and Cerberus, the hound of hell.
