Synopsis[]
Just when it looks like Adam will earn humankind the victory they long for, Zeus gathers his strength to ask Adam why he’s really fighting.
Plot[]
The God of War, Ares, explains that Zeus speed cannot be perceived by some of the gods. He is able to follow Zeus, but Zeus' last punch was so fast that even Ares could not follow. He thought that Zeus landed his hit, but in that instant he saw Zeus face turned backwards and he falling to the ground.
Hermes states that in the same instant Zeus launched his attack, Adam copied it, then dodged Zeus attack and hit him with it. Ares is surprised that Hermes had seen it, but Hermes denies he saw it, but feels this happened. Ares realizes that even if he trained for 1000 years, he could not defeat Adam. Heimdall announces that Zeus is down and wonders if they are facing a miracle. Brunhilde comments Adams' strength comes from his rancor, his hatred for the gods.
In the distant past, Adam lived with the animals in the Garden of Eden. However, one day, Eve was on a trial for eating the forbidden fruit. Even denies it, but The Serpent states he saw her with his own eyes. However, in reality, the Serpent tried to take Eve for himself, but she remained faithful to Adam and escaped him. As he felt he was being made into a fool, he bit the forbidden fruit and blamed Eve for it.
In court, the Serpent shows the bitten apple as proof. As the government, the judiciary, and the prosecution were all gods, the probability of a human being guilty was almost 100%. They sentenced Eve with banishment from paradise. Hearing about it, Adam enters the court with two baskets of the apples. He then bites an apple, but spits it as its sour, which shocks everyone in court. He proceeds to the the same with the rest of the apples.
Biting and spitting them one after another. He approaches Eve and tells her that if she leaves, he will leave with her. The Serpent can't take it anymore and transforms into his monster form. Adam states that the birds told him he made Eve cry. The Serpent tries to use his claws to rip Adam to pieces, but Adam copies him and instead slices the Serpent to pieces. Adam then takes Even down to Earth.
Mankind celebrates, believing they won their first win. Brunhilde is happy as they ended up defeating the god that she thought it would be the most troublesome. As Heimdall is about to announce Adam as the winner, Zeus stops him. He twists his head back to normal. Zeus states he understand Adam a bit more and asks him to tell him the real reason he came fighting the gods as he doesn't feel the fire of hatred in his eyes. Adam states its not hatred or revenge, and that he doesn't need a reason to protect his children.
Mankind felt his love and all came together praying that he wins. Adam tells Zeus he should have stayed down as his next attack will kill him. Zeus explains that Adam is indeed powerful, but Zeus was foolish to think he could win with just that. Zeus then starts crushing his own body, remarking that he didn't want to do it as its brutal for him, but there is no other way. Thor appears behind Odin and grabs Huginn & Muninn and states he is going to eat them.
Odin tells him severely he had told him to not transform into Thor. Thor then turns into Loki, the God of Deceit, and explains he was just joking. After that, sitting next to Odin, Loki says that its been hundreds of million of years since he last saw Zeus final form. He feels jealous of Adam as he gets to fight Zeus without holding back, which is really rare and puts on an eerie smile that frightens Huginn & Muninn.
Zeus keeps crushing and shrinking himself, while is great pain. As he finishes, Adam realizes the threat and instantly takes a fighting stance.
Suddenly everyone starts to tremble as they instincts for danger kicks in. As the smoke clears, Zeus reveals his final, Adamas form.
