Feldis was the former leader of the People of Gǫllnir.
Appearance[]
Feldis is an elderly man. He has a thin, weary body, showing that he has lived a long life. His back is slightly stooped, and his movements are slow. His face is marked by many wrinkles. He has harsh but calm features. His eyes are serious and thoughtful, giving the impression that he often dwells on the past. His hair is light, almost white, and unkempt. He wears simple clothes, more suited to his role as leader than to appearances. Even though he is physically frail, he still exudes respect and authority.
Personality[]
Feldis is a calm and thoughtful man. He always thinks before he acts and prefers wisdom to violence. He cares deeply for his people and puts their needs before his own. He is patient, a good listener, and offers sound advice. He may appear stern, but he is actually kind and protective. Feldis believes in the transmission of knowledge and trusts the next generation. Even in the face of fear or loss, he remains dignified and loyal to the very end.
Plot[]
Past[]
Feldis was an ancient god, a member of the People of Gǫllnir, a group of deities devoted to Gǫllnir, the primordial Great Inventor God. Among them, he was regarded as one of Gǫllnir’s closest and most faithful disciples. Driven by a deep pursuit of truth, Feldis was willing to do anything to understand the origins of the world and preserve the memory of its true history.
In a distant age, the Primordial Gods made a drastic decision: to erase the original history of Ragnarok. Gǫllnir was imprisoned because he refused to let the memory of past events and hidden truths fade away. His determination to preserve this knowledge was seen as a threat to the new order imposed by the Primordials.
When Gǫllnir was sealed away, Feldis refused to remain idle. He gathered a group of loyal disciples and led a daring attempt to free his master from his prison. Using tools created by Gǫllnir himself, they managed to bypass the guardians watching over the cell. Feldis firmly believed it was their sacred duty to protect Gǫllnir and the true history of the world, even if the majority of the gods wished to bury it forever.
Even though Feldis and the others succeeded in freeing Gǫllnir, he refused to flee with them. Gǫllnir declared that it was better for the new generations of gods to live and prosper in the present era rather than remain bound to the past. He believed that clinging to old truths could prevent the world from moving forward.
Before parting, Gǫllnir entrusted Feldis with a special mirror known as Jǫtunspegl, an artifact capable of creating an invisible barrier. With this relic, Feldis led his people to a remote and hidden land, where they founded a secret village. There, they could live in seclusion while continuing to preserve and pass down the truth about Gǫllnir and the forgotten past.
In honor of his master and his final will, Feldis named this community the People of Gǫllnir, ensuring that Gǫllnir’s legacy would endure even as the world moved on.
Abilities[]
- Divine Physiology: As a god, Feldis possesses physical abilities far beyond those of mortals. His body cannot be harmed by ordinary human weapons. However, he remains vulnerable to unarmed attacks from individuals with superhuman strength, as well as to divine weapons.
- Semi-Immortality: As a god, Feldis has an unlimited lifespan and cannot die of old age.
- Transmission of Life Force: To maintain the barrier created by the Jǫtunspegl, Feldis had to transfer his own life force into it. This sacrifice slowly consumed him, leading to a gradual death, like a flame quietly fading away.

Trivia[]
- Feldis' name is likely a misspelling of Fidelis, a Latin name which means "faithful".
