Fourth Round[]
Isami Kondo and Soji Okita watch the end of the Fourth Round
From a private room, Isami and Soji Okita watched the duels. After Jack the Ripper's match, Isami commented that being selected for Ragnarok is a honor as only the strongest were selected. Meanwhile, Soji was excited about the fights he has seen and wondered when it would be his turn to fight, his excitement causing Isami to grin.
Fifth Round[]
Isami Kondo, Soji Okita and Kojiro Sasaki help Buddha fight Loki and the Seven Lucky Gods
During the fifth round, before a fight between Loki and the Seven Lucky Gods against Buddha broke out, Kojiro Sasaki showed up, followed by Soji Okita and Isami. Soji excitedly joined the fray on Buddha's side, stating his desire to engage in a fight, which Isami didn't seem to mind helping him with. As the three swordsmen stood around Buddha, Isami noticed the bandages around Kojiro's stomach and asked him how his injuries were. Kojiro replied he was feeling great, which Isami was happy to hear. After Loki made a remark about how things would go the Gods' way because they make it go their way, Soji told Isami that he thought Loki was an evil God and asked him for permission to cut him down. Readying his blade, Isami encouraged Soji to stay true to himself.
However, before any actual combat could break out, they were interrupted by Zeus and Odin. When Odin unleashed his dark aura to force everyone to back down, Isami was very intimidated and got in front of Soji to protect him. When the Gods dispersed, Soji expressed his disappointment and Isami said it was alright, patting his head. He told Kojiro that they'd be heading back to Soji's room to watch the fifth round between Shiva and Raiden Tameemon, wondering what he'll do. Kojiro decided to go back to his room, admitting he was bluffing about being okay. Isami watched the rest of the match with Soji, presumably witnessing Raiden's death at the hands of the God of Destruction.
Sixth Round[]
Isami Kondo and Soji Okita confused after Zerofuku is possessed by Hajun
Isami was present at Buddha's introduction in the sixth round, alongside Soji Okita. When Buddha spoke through the Gjallarhorn to the audience and bluntly told them that he was going to fight for Humanity, the entire audience, including Isami, were shocked by the declaration. After Buddha managed to lead Zerofuku back to his roots as a God of Fortune, Isami and Soji both looked happy to see it. They were then shown being surprised when Zerofuku was absorbed into Hajun. In the final stages of the sixth round between Buddha and Hajun, after Buddha obtained the Great Nirvana Sword - Zero, Isami exclaimed he was going toe-to-toe with the monstrous Hajun. But Soji disagreed and believed Buddha was at a disadvantage, due to his missing eye and the rest of his wounds. When Hajun seemingly cut Buddha's head in half but it turned out to be an illusion, Isami and Soji were both shocked. The two then celebrated as Buddha cut Hajun down and won the round for Humanity.
Seventh Round[]
Isami Kondo, Soji Okita, Kojiro Sasaki and Hrist see the Seventh Round
Isami watched the beginning of the seventh round between Hades and Qin Shi Huang alongside Soji Okita, Kojiro Sasaki and Hrist in Soji's room. The fight began with Qin Shi Huang redirected Hades' attack back at him, leading to Hades overcoming his redirection with Persephone Titan, shocking Isami, Soji and Kojiro. After Qin Shi Huang took his blindfold off, he managed to counter Hades' Persephone Titan with Chi You - Crossbow Form: Tortoise Ripple and then proceeded to pierce through Hades' side with Chi You - Spear Form: Mount Tai Dragon Claw, which Isami was happy about. Hades deduced that Qin Shi Huang was striking at the crux of his power with his breath. Hrist was confused and questioned what he meant, leading to Kojiro explaining to her how living things have a flow of Qi. There are cruxes to that flow and Qin Shi Huang was firing puffs of air from his mouth to strike at those cruxes to weaken Hades' attacks and defenses. Isami added that it wouldn't be too hard to do that on an unmoving target but during a death match, both the target and those cruxes would be constantly moving. He questioned if it was really possible to detect those cruxes simultaneously. Kojiro said he wouldn't think it was possible but Qin Shi Huang seems to have figured out how. That prompted Soji to express a desire to fight Qin Shi Huang himself, a desire which both Isami and Kojiro shared, causing Hrist to write them off as a bunch of fighting nuts.
Soji Okita, Kojiro Sasaki, Isami Kondo and Hrist are shocked to see Hades use Ichor: Desmos to pierce Qin Shi Huang's left shoulder
The fight seemed to be going in Qin Shi Huang's favor as he injured Hades further but after deciding to answer Qin Shi Huang's resolve as King of the Netherworld, Hades stabbed himself in the chest with the protrusion on his bident, which shocked Isami, Soji, Kojiro and Hrist, and caused pain to Qin Shi Huang, due to his Mirror Touch Synesthesia. After dragging the protrusion across his chest and causing blood to spray out of his body, Hades smiled and began whistling. Isami was confused by the whistling, which Kojiro nervously recognized as the same kind of whistling Poseidon did in the third round. After it was revealed that Hades covered his body in blood to be able to see Qin Shi Huang's air bullets and negate their effect, his bident was powered up and transformed into Ichor: Desmos, due to the unique property of Hades' blood. Hades then used Ichor: Eos and broke through Qin Shi Huang's armor, taking off his left ring and pinky fingers, as well as gouging out Qin Shi Huang's left shoulder, much to the astonishment of Isami and the rest.
Soji Okita denies Isami Kondo, who is convinced that for Qin Shi Huang it is now over
With Qin Shi Huang unable to use his left arm to redirect Hades' attacks, Isami believed it was all over for him, which Soji and Kojiro agreed with. As a last-ditch effort, Qin Shi Huang recast his Almighty Spaulders into the Shi Huang Goujian Sword, standing off against Hades for one last attack, which Isami silently witnessed with the rest of the audience. Hades struck with Ichor: Eos and Qin Shi Huang retaliated with Chi You - Sword Form: Shi Huang Yan Cut. But Hades' strike proved to be stronger and he ended up taking off Qin Shi Huang's left arm. While Hrist was in disbelief, Isami lamented how Qin Shi Huang put all his power into that slash but it still wasn't able to reach Hades.

However, Qin Shi Huang miraculously got back on his feet and seemed determined to keep the fight going. Isami thought he was as good as dead since his secret techniques were made ineffective and his left arm was missing. But Soji didn't agree as he could tell Qin Shi Huang hadn't given up yet due to the look in his eyes, prompting Kojiro to guess he still had a plan. Isami was left watching in anticipation again as Qin Shi Huang and Hades stood off against each other. Hades went first with Ichor: Eos and Qin Shi Huang clashed the tip of his sword against Hades' spear, using Chi You - Armor Form: Heavenly Hand of Defense to hold back Hades' spear. Isami, Soji and Kojiro couldn't believe Qin Shi Huang was seemingly trying to deflect Hades' attack, with Soji exclaiming he'll be crushed. They were then shocked further when Qin Shi Huang fired Tortoise Ripple at Hades' Desmos, weakening it and allowing Qin Shi Huang to turn Hades' power back on himself, destroying Desmos, which the swordsmen and the rest of the audience didn't expect. After Qin Shi Huang killed Hades and was declared the winner, Isami celebrated with the rest of Humanity as this meant Humanity was in the lead in Ragnarok for the first time ever.
After Kojiro explained how Qin Shi Huang won to a confused Hrist, Isami sat down and admitted Qin Shi Huang was full of surprises this round. He said the Emperor must have had fearsome willpower to do what he did while suffering such deep wounds.
Eighth Round[]
Isami Kondo, Soji Okita, Kojiro Sasaki and Hrist watch the Eighth Round
Isami watched the beginning of the eighth round between Beelzebub and Nikola Tesla alongside Soji Okita, Kojiro Sasaki and Hrist in Soji's room. He was shown to be surprised when Tesla constructed the Gematria Zone. Inside the Gematria Zone, Tesla was able to float using anti-gravity and Isami was seen being taken aback when Tesla was able to dodge Beelzebub's Sorath Vau while jumping back, with his back towards the ground.
After Tesla used the Tesla Warp to teleport behind Beelzebub to land a direct hit, Isami was surprised and exclaimed that he didn't even see Tesla move, questioning how he moved that quickly. Soji told him that he didn't think Tesla actually moved and Kojiro agreed that he certainly "disappeared." Beelzebub tried to finish things off with the Original Sin of the Netherworld - No.0: Chaos but Tesla survived and their fight continued, with Tesla eventually covering himself with electricity.

He proceeded to use Plasma Pulse Punch Moebius, an unceasing barrage of punches that Beelzebub was forced to keep blocking with his barrier. Upon seeing the speed at which Tesla was moving at, Isami couldn't believe it while Soji exclaimed he couldn't see where one punch ended and when the next began. But due to the internal damage he suffered from Chaos earlier, Tesla was forced to pause and before he could resume his barrage, Beelzebub pushed his barrier up against him to prevent him from going on the offensive again.
Soji Okita, Kojiro Sasaki, Isami Kondo and Hrist witness in despair the defeat and death of Nikola Tesla and Göndul
After utilizing Plasma Pulse Punch Jet to propel himself forward, Tesla launched a right hook at Beelzebub's barrier, only for Tesla's right arm to disappear, seemingly due to making contact with the barrier, surprising Isami, Beelzebub and the rest of the audience. It turned out that Tesla teleported his right fist behind Beelzebub and caught him in a pincer attack. Unfortunately, this final gambit didn't work and Beelzebub was able to pierce through Tesla's heart. In his last moments, Tesla made a rousing speech to the rest of Humanity before vanishing and being sent to Niflhel. As Hrist mourned her sister's death, Isami was seen with his head down, along with Soji.
Ninth Round[]
Kojiro's group watch Apollo landing a heavy punch on Leonidas
Isami watched the ninth round between Apollo and King Leonidas, along with Soji Okita, Kojiro Sasaki and Hrist in Soji's room. After Apollo constrained their fight to close-quarters to best Leonidas at his specialty, he used his threads to immobilize Leonidas' right arm and punched Leonidas in the face. Apollo then bunched up his threads into bands of thicker threads and wrapped them all around his right arm, delivering a heavy blow to Leonidas' face again, which shocked Isami and his fellow spectators. In the final stages of the fight, Isami watched with anticipation as both Leonidas and Apollo prepared their final attacks. When Apollo's Argyrotoxos clashed against Leonidas' Phalanx Lambda, the giant arrowhead covering his right arm shattered upon impact with Leonidas' shield, which surprised Isami and the others. In the end, Apollo's final attack still got through and he landed a fatal blow through Leonidas, killing him.
Soji listens to Leonidas' speech about how one can't choose to be born, but can choose how to die
After the ninth round ended with Apollo's victory, Hrist was mourning Geirölul's death. Kojiro remarked on how that was a battle to be proud of as he never flinched against Apollo and fought him head-on until the end. Isami agreed and he called Leonidas a "warrior of truth," calling his death a spectacular end. At that moment, Soji expressed how jealous he was and explained to a curious Kojiro that he wished to fall in a spectacular battle too, having died from illness instead. Isami could sympathize with Soji since he was executed instead of dying in battle.
Tenth Round[]
Isami Kondo remembers his final momnets, as he was executed and thus, unable to have a warrior's death
Isami joined Soji Okita when he went out of his room to find Brunhilde at the Akashic Records room. Brunhilde was panicking over the two consecutive losses of Humanity and was in a dilemma on which of the remaining fighters she should send to fight for the tenth round. Just as Göll pointed out the remaining fighters' names, Soji and Isami appeared behind them, with Soji volunteering to go next, as Isami carried his weapon, wore a headband and carried a banner of the Shinsengumi. Brunhilde accepted Soji's request, which Isami was happy about, and Soji thanked her, declaring he shall go forth as the Shinsengumi's First Division Captain.
