Midgard (地上界, Mizugaruzu) is one of the three main worlds of "Shuumatsu no Valkyrie: Record of Ragnarok" (alongside Valhalla and Helheim). It's the place where Humanity and animals live.

Adam and Eve descend to Midgard
Approximately 7 million years before Ragnarok, Adam and Eve descended to Earth after being expelled from the Garden of Eden. The two of them became originators of the Human race.

The sea of Midgard polluted by Humanity is one of the reasons why the Gods want to exterminate Humanity
Recently, a lot of the natural environment in Midgard has been destroyed due to Humanity's actions. For example, the seas are filled with waste and oil, many of its forests are gone and many other species living on Midgard have gone extinct or are endangered. This ended up making many Gods, such as Aphrodite, desire the extinction of mankind.
Description[]
Midgard looks identical to its real world counterpart, possessing a great variety of landscapes (from cities to forests). A great deal of its natural environment has been affected due to pollution and deforestation caused by Humanity, this being one of the main reasons why the Gods desire humankind's extinction.
