Niflhel (魂の完全消滅ニブルヘル, Niburuheru), also referred to as the chaos of the beginning or primordial chaos, is one of the realms in the universe of Shuumatsu no Valkyrie: Record of Ragnarok, alongside Midgard, Helheim, and Valhalla. The term is often used instead of the word “oblivion.”
It is the fate of all who lose and die during Ragnarok.
Overview[]
Niflhel, also known as the Chaos of the Beginning or the Primordial Chaos, is the final realm. This place represents absolute nothingness. Being sent to Niflhel means that the soul is destroyed, preventing any form of reincarnation, and your body is reduced to dust in the void of space.
This process is believed to be irreversible, perceived as a form of permanent death. Once sent to Niflhel, you will never return.
Demons, gods, and other supernatural creatures are automatically sent to Niflhel upon death, while humans go to Paradise. However, if a human dies in the afterlife, they are sent to Niflhel.
