Info |
Octavius is one of the participants of the Titanomachy Tournament, representing the Aurelius Family.
Appearance[]
Octavius appears as a hulking young man adorned with a striking necklace, a pair of cuffs, and a flowing kilt. His long mane of hair is often covered by a lion headdress and his face is marked with several scars that tell stories of past battles.
Personality[]
Octavius is a deeply conceited and narcissistic individual who believes that beauty is everything. In addition to this, he is extremely flamboyant and exhibits traits of a god complex, revealing in his own perceived superiority.
He was also fiercely loyal to Commodus, having the crest engraved on his armor.
Plot - Flying General[]
Past[]
He was born into a noble Roman family and trained to become a gladiator. Throughout his career, Octavius achieved an impressive record of 50 victories before the events of Flying General, ultimately earning the title Rome's strongest gladiator.
Titanomachy Tournament[]
When the Titanomachy began, he was set to face the foreigner, Lü Bu in the very first round. Arrogantly, Octavius mocked and called the Asian man a barbarian and boasted how he'd make sure his death was "beautiful", although Lü Bu didn't care and simply ignored him as he prepared for the fight. Annoyed, Octavius then proceeded to attack Lü Bu, only for the latter to easily dodge all of his attacks. Seeing his opponent evading all of his sword strikes, Octavius decided to employ a dirty trick and used the sharp cleats on the bottom of his sandals to kick sand into Lü Bu's eyes; while he was distracted by the dirt, Octavius proceeded to stomp on Lü Bu's foot and try to finish him off with his special attack: The Hercules Roman Dance. However, Lü Bu not only managed to completely stop Octavius' attack, but effortlessly broke his arm before finishing the pompous nobleman off with a single chop to his side.
Abilities[]
- Enhanced Strength: It can be assumed that Octavius was quite strong due to having very large muscles and winning at least 50 gladiatorial matches before the events of Flying General. However, compared to the superhuman strength displayed by Lü Bu, Octavius was completely outmatched.
- Swordsmanship: Because he fought with a longsword as his primary weapon, it can be assumed he at least knew how to use it; although his overall skill-level with it is unknown as he was defeated very quickly and didn't show anything remarkable that'd indicate any form of mastery with the blade.
