The Serpent was the one that accused Eve of eating from the Tree of Knowledge in anger after she turned him down.[1]

Appearance[]

The Serpent is a tall and thin man. He has black long hair and five stripes of hair on his chin. His face resembles that of a snake, having a wide mouth with two fangs coming out of it and slanted eyes.[1]

He wears a black suit, with a medallion-kind object over his tie and a scarf whose design resembles snakeskin.[1]

Personality[]

The Serpent is an individual who lets himself be carried away by his instincts; we can see this when gets carried away by lust (trying to force Eve)[2] and by anger (accusing her of eating an apple from the Tree of Knowledge after she had turned him down or trying to kill Adam and her during the trial).[3]

He is also someone who is willing to do the most despicable deeds in order to obtain what he wants.[2]

Plot[]

The Serpent tries to abuse Eve

The Serpent tries to abuse Eve

During the times of the Garden of Eden, the Serpent was attracted towards Eve, so he attempted to rape her. Eve was saved by some birds, managing to escape. Angered by this, the Serpent took bite out of the forbidden fruit from the Tree of Knowledge and used that as forged evidence against her.[4] While Eve is being tried, the Serpent shows everyone the apple he allegedly bit into her, accusing her of having eaten the forbidden fruit.[5]

The Serpent satisfied

The Serpent pleased to see Eve banished from the Garden of Eden

When Eve was about to be expelled from the Garden (since the chances of a human receiving a guilty verdict on the gods' trial were 99.99999%), the Serpent thinks that now she will have to fight for survival on Earth for rejecting him. Soon after, Adam entered the court with two baskets full of fruits from the Tree of Knowledge and took a bite out of all of them so he would be expelled from the Garden of Eden along with his wife.[6]

Adam kills the Serpent anime

The Serpent is killed by Adam

Angered by the actions of Adam, the Serpent proceeded to attempt to kill them both, but he was immediately defeated by Adam, who used his Divine Reflection to copy the Serpent's claws, slicing both of his arms, legs and tongue.[7]

Abilities[]

Arm stretching: He was shown to be able to freely move and stretch his arm to an insane degree. He used this to try to force Eve into submission.[2]

Transformation: When he morphs into his true form, the Serpent becomes a snake-like creature (but with arms and legs) and grows bigger in size. While in this form, he uses his claws to attack. They seem to be very sharp, since Adam's copy of them managed to cut easily through his own flesh and bones.[7]
