Valkyries (戦乙女, Warukyūre) are a group of Norse demigods that are charged with guiding Human souls to Valhalla.
Overview[]
The Valkyries are a group of thirteen demigoddesses that are charged with choosing the most worthy Human warriors and guiding their souls to Valhalla after their death. These warriors were to be used as an army for the Gods. However, a rumor has floated around since ancient times that the Valkyries' goal was never to create an army for Heaven. Instead, the Valkyries would bond with their chosen warriors and transform into weapons befitting of the wielder in a pact that would be known as Völundr. The souls gathered by the Valkyries were the force they prepared to fight against the Gods, should Ragnarok begin. If a Human warrior dies, then a Valkyrie suffers the same fate as the Human representative and both of them are sent to Niflhel.
This group of thirteen individuals chosen by the Valkyries are known as the Einherjar.

Gods' Council[]
Brunhilde decides to use the Valkyries to help Humanity defeat the Gods in Ragnarok
Somewhere between the Gods' Council and the start of Ragnarok, all thirteen Valkyries met with Brunhilde and Göll to help them fight against the Gods. Brunhilde briefly discussed what Thor's Divine Weapons were with Randgriz and asked her to perform a Völundr with Lü Bu, which she agreed to do with no hesitation, despite knowing the risks.
First Round[]
Randgriz is killed along with Lü Bu by Thor at the end of the First Round
Randgriz was chosen to perform Völundr with Lü Bu to fight against Thor. After Lü Bu's defeat, she was sent to Niflhel .
Second Round[]
Reginleif is killed along with Adam by Zeus at the end of the Second Round
Reginleif was chosen to perform Völundr with Adam to fight against Zeus. After Adam's death, she was sent to Niflhel.
Third Round[]
Hrist, in the moment of difficulty, performs Re Völundr with Kojiro Sasaki and together they defeat Poseidon in the Third Round
Hrist was chosen to perform Völundr with Kojiro Sasaki to fight against Poseidon. After Poseidon's death, Hrist and Kojiro spent the rest of Ragnarok watching the other rounds together.
Fourth Round[]
Hlökk is forced by Jack the Ripper to perform Völundr with him, eventually defeating Heracles in the Fourth Round
Hlökk was chosen to perform Völundr with Jack the Ripper to fight against Heracles. Despite being against the idea, she was forced into doing it anyway. After Heracles' death, Hlökk and Jack spent the rest of Ragnarok watching the other rounds together.
Fifth Round[]
Thrud decides not to untie the Völundr and to be killed by Shiva together with Raiden Tameemon at the end of the Fifth Round
Thrud was chosen to perform Völundr with Raiden Tameemon to fight against Shiva. After Raiden's death, she was sent to Niflhel.
Seventh Round[]
Alvitr aids Qin Shi Huang and together they defeat Hades in the Seventh Round
Alvitr was chosen to perform Völundr with Qin Shi Huang to fight against Hades. After Hades' death, Alvitr and Qin Shi Huang were taken to a secret room to recover.
Eighth Round[]
Göndul helps Nikola Tesla at the end of the Eighth Round, while both are killed by Beelzebub
Göndul was chosen to perform Völundr with Nikola Tesla to fight against Beelzebub. After Tesla's death, she was sent to Niflhel.
Ninth Round[]
Geirölul dies alongside Leonidas after enduring Apollo's attack
Geirölul was chosen to perform Völundr with Leonidas to fight against Apollo. After Leonidas's death, she was sent to Niflhel.
