Yohachi Urakaze is a sumo wrestler. He founded the Urakaze stable, the stable from which Raiden Tameemon would train in sumo.

Appearance[]

Yohachi Urakaze is a heavily muscled and fat middle-aged japanese man. He has white hair and a white beard. His white hair is tied into a large bun.

He wears a loincloth and a large coat draped over like a cape.

Personality[]

Not much is known about his personality. However it was shown that Yohachi Urakaze likes eating food and that he is a man of few words. Like all other sumo wrestlers he respects Raiden Tameemon.

Yohachi Urakaze and the other sumo wrestlers support Raiden Tameemon during the Fifth Round

Yohachi was briefly seen on the crowd watching the fight. When Raiden died, Yohachi and all the sumo wrestlers fought back their own tears to give a proper farewell to the fallen warrior.

Abilities[]

Golden Age: As a human soul in the afterlife, Yohachi posses the appearance and skills that he had during his Golden Age, the age in which he was at his peak.

Skilled Sumo Wrestler: Yohachi is a sumo wrestler. He practiced Edo-style kanjin sumo, and was evidentally good enough to found his own stable to train future generations of sumo wrestlers.

  • Unarmed Combat Proficiency: As a Sumo Wrestler, Yohachi does not use any weapons choosing to fight with nothing besides his own body.

Etymology[]

  • Yohachi's surname Urakaze means "inlet, bay, gulf, creek, cove" (浦) (ura) and "wind, breeze, way, manner, blaster, gale, gust, sirocco, method" (風) (kaze).
